How do I create an account?
Download the Hood app, tap "Join Our Community," and select whether you're joining as a Resident, Business Owner, or Artist. Fill in your details and you're in.
Is Hood free to use?
Yes. Hood is free for residents and artists. Business owners can list for free and upgrade to a premium plan for additional features including unlimited deals and analytics.
What cities is Hood available in?
Hood is currently live in Stockton, CA. We're expanding to more cities soon.
How do I save a deal?
Tap any deal card to open it, then tap "Save Deal." Your saved deals appear in the Saved tab.
How do I redeem a coupon?
Open a saved deal, tap the coupon code to copy it, and show it to the business when you visit. Some deals may require you to show the deal screen directly.
How do I follow a business or artist?
Tap the bookmark icon on any listing card to save it to your profile.
How do I create a business listing?
Sign up as a Business Owner, complete your profile, and your listing will appear in the Hood directory automatically.
How do I post a deal or coupon?
From your business profile, tap "Create Deal" and fill in the deal details including title, description, discount type, coupon code, and expiration date.
How do I upgrade to a premium plan?
Go to your profile and tap "Upgrade." Hood offers monthly ($25/month) and annual ($240/year) premium plans with additional features.
How do I get discovered on Hood?
Sign up as an Artist, complete your profile with photos, bio, and social media links. You'll appear in the artist directory under your category.
What artist categories does Hood support?
Comedians, Dancers, DJs, Musicians, Photographers, Videographers, and Visual Artists.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link shortly.
How do I update my profile information?
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar, then tap Edit to update your details.
How do I delete my account?
Email us at info@hoodofficial.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and we'll process it within 5 business days.
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue continues, delete and reinstall the app. If problems persist, contact us at info@hoodofficial.com.
