• Profile information — bio, city, state, phone number, and avatar photo you choose to provide
• Business information — business name, address, category, photos, and contact details for business owner accounts
• Usage data — how you interact with the app, screens you visit, deals you save, and businesses you follow
• Device information — device type, operating system, and app version
• Location data — approximate location when you grant permission, used to show nearby businesses and artists

We use the information we collect to provide, improve, and personalize the Hood experience.

• Display local businesses, artists, and deals near you
• Process in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Send notifications about saved deals and followed businesses

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• With other users — business and artist profile information you provide is visible to other Hood users by design
• Service providers — we use Supabase for database and authentication services, and Apple for payment processing
• Legal requirements — when required by law or to protect rights and safety
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Supabase, and row-level security policies on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Access — you can view and update your profile information within the app at any time
• Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
• Location — you can disable location access in your device settings at any time
• Notifications — you can manage push notification preferences in your device settings

Hood is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
